Villa Celta is doubtless a truly magic spot. Like a fort on the top of "Cerro do Cardal" it is enthroned - only 6 km far from the lovely town of Tavira, located at the rising hill at its highest point. It is easily to imagine, when the Celts were there 3000 years ago and observed the surrounding from that point. In each single direction you got offered a wide number of spectacularly view. In the North the Serra (the Algarve mountains) are extending at there very best and looking to South the boundless Atlantic Ocean - more than 50 km coastline from East to West is to be savour. Sunrise, sunset, marvellous starry nights . should be more than adequate to visit Villa Celta - but there are more amenities.

Villa Celta was built in 2003 - the living room is located on the first floor, designed as a semicircle chamber with dining table and three directly accesses by terrace doors, which guarantees nice aerating and illuminates inside ideally. The open kitchen, rustic in style is joined, the granite-architrave is a relict of the ruin, before this wonderful Villa was been constructed. Today is fixed at the same spot the top modern oven with gas- and electroplates, moreover also includes a fan oven. A big fridge-freezer, a practical dish-washer leave no wishes open. Out from the kitchen window, you also relish this unforgettable sea view. A little office, a guest toilette with shower and two canopied terraces also the comfortable sofa elements with TV and stereo are belonging to the first floor.
Three bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with bath tube in the corner and extra shower is provided in the ground floor. For a group up to 8 could be additional rented the attic: one bedroom, a small living room and another bathroom with a shower, toilette and basin. The external staircase will lead you to the attic with the highest roof terrace and the most impressing panoramic view all over.

Villa Celta has air-conditioning and fly screens in all rooms. During the Portuguese winter and cooler months, we got beside the air condition a wood burner in the lounge. Internet access, international TV channels, washing machine, garage, electric port and a brick layer barbecue with outdoor basin completes these amenities. Last but no least the wonderful saltwater pool (8m x 4,5m, deepest point 2,20m). Next to the pool you should not miss a superb refreshing before swimming, the huge dolphin shower. The complete property, especially the pool area, is perfectly for your privacy, far from neighbours with several points and spots to relax – and all around this panoramic view, beyond comparison.

To stay at Villa Celta it seems to be as the world around you pause. At the same time it is amazing that only in a 10 minutes drive you will be in the middle of the vivid town of Tavira by car. A very pulsating town especially during summer months. On the one hand you got in summer the impressing historic part of the city with a great number of culture events, markets and the paths crowded by holiday guests and locals. On the other hand during the rest of the year all is turning much more slowly, in the narrow streets you will find many nice restaurants, shops and important points of historical buildings or taking the ferry boat to the beach and enjoy a little break...

* Dogs are welcome. Experience has shown, though, that it is necessary to have some rules in force, that guarantee that the house owner as well as following guests will not be affected by the dog: The dog owner has to make sure that his dog will do its businesses at a suitable place outside of the premises of the house. The Tenant will bring an own sleeping mat or bed for his dog and will take care that the dog will not lie on the couch, nor in beds or in/on other types of furniture. In addition the Tenant commits to regularly sweep the accommodation in order to keep it free from dog´s hair as good as possible.
